During tomorrow’s seventh annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, the Brooklyn Bodega has announced a second stage in the borough’s historic Tobacco Warehouse. As Q-Tip & Friends, M.O.P., Kendrick Lamar and Random Axe perform, the second stage will feature 1990s New Jersey veterans the Lords of the Underground, along with Maybach Music Group’s Stalley, a DXnext alum.
Other artists performing will be Sene, K-Salaam & Beatnick and others.
The event will mark the final day in the week-long event in its seventh year. Tonight is the Bodega Recognition Awards, hosted at the Brooklyn Sheraton. Nominations for awards include Duck Down Records, Rhymesayers Records, XXL magazine, Complex.com, The Smoking Section, Wax Poetics magazine – as well as HipHopDX.com and its Editor-in-Chief Jake Paine.
Tickets and event information is available for both events here.
