Philaflava is set to hit fans with their first mixtape, “A League of Their Own.” For those unaware, Philaflava is a highly-respected college radio show that has been on the scene for about 3 years now. The men behind the project, Jason Gloss and Abby O’Neil, have gathered some major talent for the album.
Aside from the emcees and producers that appear on the mixtape, it features DJ Krisis (competitor at DMC Championships), who mixed the entire 24 track album. On the beat tip, Pete Rock, DJ Khalil, Hi-Tek, Jake One and DJ Revolution all contribute. Whereas Royce Da 5’9, Masta Ace, MURS, Copywrite, Planet Asia and Buckshot are among the emcees that appear.
