Whether you’re a thug, backpacker, or computer nerd, you can’t argue that Mobb Deep has made some of the finest songs hip-hop has ever heard. “Shook Ones pt.II” still gets cats shook to this day and “Hell On Earth” sports a mind-blowing beat. The Mobb has made their mark on hip-hop and even though their last album was a disappointment, Havoc and Prodigy had many suitors wheh Loud folded.

After rumors that they signed with Shady Records and an announcement that they signed with Landspeed, the official is finally here. Mobb Deep has officially signed with Jive Records. Not only did they sign a deal, they signed a pretty sweet one.

According to reports, Mobb Deep received a hefty 10 million for signing and will receive a 50/50 percentage on record sales. So whatever Jive makes on the sale of an album, Mobb will get half of that. An eye for an eye.
