Whether or not you have heard of DJ JS-1, you gotta respect the man’s connections. Not too many DJ’s can get all new material from the likes of KRS-One, Masta Ace, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap and Evidence. “Ground Control” is the debut of the Queens born DJ.
That isn’t it either, “Ground Control” features one of the most impressive line-ups in recent memory. For an underground head (or anyone with good taste), there are enough nice emcees here to make you salivate. DJ JS-1 produces most of the album himself with some contributions from Domingo, Prince Po and more.
