On Thursday, 50 Cent’s Shady Records debut, “Get Rich or Die Tryin,’” was leaked to the Internet for all to download. Which also means that the album hit the streets that same day. 50’s label did not waste anytime reacting the very next day they announced that the album was being pushed forward to Thursday, February 6th.

“I’m excited that the streets are anxious to have my album so I’m just gonna give them what they want, the real version. And if I catch any bootleggers they gonna have to deal with me. Believe me G-Unit is combing the block. I’m lookin for that van,” comments 50 Cent.

Pushing the album ahead 5 days does not look like their only strategy, word is that the album that leaked to the Internet is not the official version. There are some major guest appearances that will appear on the retail version, two more from Eminem, Rakim, DMX, Xzibit, D-12, Trina, and Dr. Dre.
