In 2001 Apathy released one of the years’ best albums in “The Bootleg CD,” unfortunately since it was a do-it-yourselfer it was incredibly hard to find. Through incredible 12”s and his posse album with The Demigodz, Ap earned himself a deal with Atlantic. According to hiphopsite, his untitled major-label debut is scheduled for August and will boast production from Celph-Titled, Alchemist, EZ Elpee, Six July, DJ Khalil and DR Period.

That isn’t the only album that he has on tap though, “Eastern Philosophy,” which he made in 2002, is ready to drop as well. At this point Ap is just trying to secure distribution since his previous deal with Fat Beats is shaky. “I would like to release it with Fat Beats, but we’re looking at every option,” Apathy told hiphopsite.

Ap also had a few other interesting things to say concerning his upcoming albums and future Demigodz projects. “My Atlantic LP is more focused and more humorous, but Eastern Philosophy is harder, more lyrical and just bugged out.” In reference to another Demigodz album he said, “Celph and I are really focused on our own shit right now, but we need to seriously restructure the Demigodz, a few members may not be involved next time.”
