In 2001 Daz sued Suge Knight and Tha Row for breach of contract, last week the judge at the Los Angeles County Supreme Court awarded Daz with a $25.5 million default judgment. Suge will appeal that the decision be reversed, but if it is not, Suge’s attorney says Tha Row will likely be finished.

A default judgment was made due to the frightening environment at Tha Row’s offices. After two of its employees were killed last year, Suge’s legal representation were afraid to come to the offices. According to documents, the communications breakdown led to confusion and inattention regarding the defense of Daz’s suit.

On Tuesday, January 28th there will be a hearing to review and reconsider the decision. If the decision is sustained and Tha Row does indeed fold, it would certainly increase the bad blood between Suge and his former employee. But considering Suge’s poor track record with his former employees, it would be rather ironic if one of them put him out of business.
