J-Live has never really had to much success with the music industry. After having his debut LP delayed for nearly 2 years, “The Best Part” was finally released in bootleg fashion. Only for a slightly altered version to be released a year and a half later on Coup D’Etat. Shortly after that release, Coup also released J-Live’s sophomore opus, “All of the Above.”
Now, it looks like Live’s relationship with Coup D’Etat has run its course. As of January 2nd, J-Live’s year long relationship with Coup is just another one for the books. J had this to say about his future:
“My plan was and still is to release my next album, ‘The Hear After’ this Fall and my main concern is to produce the best product I can. I am very much pleased with the commercial success of ‘All of The Above’ as well as ‘The Best Part’ and there is no reason for me to think ‘The Hear After’ won’t be another step up for me as an artist and a businessman.”
