At one time he was a newcomer to hip hop spitting alongside Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace, and Kool G Rap on the greatest posse cut of all-time, “The Symphony.” Within a couple years, Craig G disappeared and was not heard from for some time. That is surely not the case anymore.
Armed with beats from some hip hop’s premier beatsmiths, Craig G is looking to return in a big way. A cornerstone of the newly formed D&D Records, Craig is banging out songs in the studio for his debut D&D debut scheduled to drop in March.
The still untitled album boasts production from the likes of Large Professor, Alchemist, Da Beatminerz, Da Rockwilder and Domingo. Not to mention his long-awaited reunion with the man who put him on, Marley Marl. On the rhyme tip, Afu Ra, Krumbsnatcha and Snoop are slated to appear.
