In 2009, emcee Ayatollah Jaxx linked up with fellow Toronto Hip Hop luminary Fundamental to form the Good Company. Now, two years after their debut EP dropped, the duo are back with their first studio album This Time Next Year.
Released today at Godsendent.com, the Good Company’s nine-song debut LP will feature the likes of Canadian emcees Elley Jeeze and Cashtro Crosby, in addition to Dominique Larue, the Varsity Squad and Justus League alum L.E.G.A.C.Y. Fundamental will handle all of This Time Next Year‘s production, while both members of the duo will share microphone duties.
In other news, New York City underground vet Jesse Abraham dropped his debut EP The One Day earlier today, featuring Fresh Daily and DX Next alum Eric Sosa, as well as production from !llmind and KO Beatz. The EP follows on the heels of Abraham’s 2010 acclaimed mixtape Bars & NoBull, hosted by DJBooth.com.
A tracklist for Abraham’s EP can be found below. Also below is a video for his EP’s single “Spiderman on Vitamins.”
