Yesterday, HipHopDX learned that California-based RBC is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The label and marketing company founded in 2001 by Priority Records alumni Bob and Ben Grossi, Brian Shafton, Fred McKendree – along with Brett Morrow, has helped independent artists such as Tech N9ne, E-40, Too Short, C-Bo and DJ Quik establish their own labels. Additionally, RBC has provided online marketing for Ice Cube and others.
As a label, RBC has released projects from the likes of Nappy Roots, Planet Asia, Above The Law’s Big Hutch and most recently, two releases last week from Layzie Bone.
To comemorate the anniversary, RBC has additional plans in 2011, that include various work on releases from Canibus, Brotha Lynch Hung, Killer Mike, Krayzie Bone and Too Short.
