Last year, Canadian MC Shad followed in Kardinal Offishall and Drake’s footsteps and broke into the US market with his album TSOL. Now, Shad is following his LP with a new iTunes Session.

Recorded at Metalworks studio in Toronto, the six-track EP finds Shad recording new versions of previously recorded tracks and the first-ever studio recording of his YouTube a capella song “The One In Front of The Garage.”

In addition, Shad and post-hardcore band Alexisonfire frontman Dallas Green are offering fans the chance to remix their single “Live Forever” in a new online contest. More information about entry can be found at their website.

Shad is also preparing to tour the US with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis this April. The dates can be seen below.

The five-track EP is the group’s second release to date, following last year’s Who Cares If We’re Dope? Vol. 1 with producer E-Train.
