Since everyone wants to know what’s up with 50, here is the down low on his debut album (excluding his 50,009 mixtapes) courtesy of hiphopsite. Thus far, 50 has cranked over 50 songs for “Get Rich Or Die Trying.” You know what that means? A four disk album! No, it doesn’t, look for about 17 or so to make the cut. Maybe the rest will be saved in the event that he dies, posthumous albums are where it’s at y’know.
Word is that the good doctor has done twelve tracks with 50. That is certainly saying something, not many get 12 beats from Dre these days. Eminem has done 6 tracks with him and Reef and Sha “Money XL” Self will also contribute. Speculative guests at this point are Eminem, Dre, and of course.
The lead single from the album has hit the mix-tape circuit (what a surprise). “Up In The Clubs” is apparently produced by Dre, although it certainly does not sound like a Dre beat. There may be some confusion as Dre did the b-side called “Back Down.” Lastly, I guarantee this to all of you reading, 50 Cent will have the last laugh in the Ja Rule wars, tune in to HHDX on Wednesday to find out why.
