It is not strange, to hear Snoop claim that he is reppin’ ‘213’? What he is referring to is the area code in Long Beach from which he, Warren G and Nate Dogg grew up in. ‘213’ is also the name of the group that the three formed back in the day.
Before they appeared on Dr. Dre’s “The Chronic,” they dreamed of doing an album together. According to Snoop, that album is going to happen, “That should be out next year around November, around the fourth quarter. We’re trying to ink the deal right now and get it all done and pulled together. But 213 is definitely coming out next year.”
Snoop also said the highly anticipated NWA reunion is not out of the question, “I wouldn’t say the N.W.A album is not going to come together. I think Ice Cube is trying to sign with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label right now. And MC Ren is still kicking it out by my house. So it’s still an open possibility, you know what I’m saying? It’s just a matter of timing. We all got busy schedules, I’m pretty sure it could happen”
