In a recent interview with sohh, Nas made some interesting remarks concerning his admiration for Adolf Hitlter and other notoriously evil historical figures. His feelings concerning Jay-Z were mentioned as well. Here are some highlights from the interview:
On Jay-Z:
“I don’t know to me I think the ni99a has an orgasm every time I mention his name. Beating me would’ve made him immortal…I don’t know who the f#@$ is on the Blueprint 2, I was never crazy into his records anyway so I didn’t know what to listen for but I knew who I thought he was and I didn’t hear it on the album.”
On contradicting himself:
“I just make music and there’s gonna be more ‘Oochie Wallies.’ There are no guidelines or rules like ‘you can’t make ‘Oochie Wally.’ You make righteous records.’ f#@$ no I’m a human being. I’m making records, I’m not the pope.”
On Hitler:
“It’s telling about people I look up to,” Nas said. “[People like] Genghis Khan, Hitler, Nat Turner, J. Edgar Hoover, Huey Newton, all different types of motherfuckers. Some demonic, some of them are children of God. You gotta be a mastermind to survive in this world.”

On Jam Master Jay:
“Jam Master Jay was from the streets and he stayed true to the streets,” he said. “That’s something that could happen if you stay in the streets trying to help people. It was some brave sh!t for him to do.”
