It’s no major secret that many rappers like to get high, but Dizzee Rascal is taking things to the next level. The UK emcee recently expressed his sincere interest in joining Virgin Group mogul Sir Richard Branson on a commercial flight into space.

In a recent interview with Britain’s Esquire magazine, Rascal said that he has been talking to his friend Sam Branson, son of the famed British entrepreneur, about reserving a spot on one of Virgin Galactic’s future commercial space flight. He even went as far as to say that he hopes to have his cremated ashes spread out in space.

“I’ve asked Sam to reserve my place and I meant it,” he said. “When I die, I want my ashes scattered in space. I just love the possibilities of what could happen. I know it sounds a bit nerdy, but your particles could merge with something.” (ContactMusic.com)

Despite British grime sensation’s enthusiasm, Branson’s Virgin Galactic is quite a bit a away from lift-out. The company is still in the testing stages with its aircrafts. In addition, ticket prices for space travel are currently running at the steep price of $200,000 a piece.
