I know you older cats out there remember the self-proclaimed “nigga ya love to hate.” Before the sub-par “War & Peace” albums, before the movies, Cube was the NWA outcast assaulting the world with righteous and abrasive rhymes. His first (and classic) solo album, “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted,” was one of the first albums to get 5 mics from The Source (which was actually good back then).

1990’s “AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted,” 1991’s “Death Certificate,” 1992’s “The Predator” and 93’s “Lethal Injection” are all set for re-release. I am not sure why the “Kill At Will” EP is being left out, especially now that it is so hard to find. These albums will be back in stores on February 25th. Each album will include bonus tracks, no word as to whether they are new songs, or unreleased songs from that era. Hopefully, the latter.

In addition to the releases, Cube will also be releasing a new DVD on the same day. “Ice Cube: The Video Collection” is a collection of 15 Ice Cube videos spanning his career. So for all you new school fans that wonder how Cube got into the position that he is today, check the repertoire.
