Soul Assassins, DJ Muggs and The Alchemist are both keeping busy these days. According to hiphopsite, both producers are in the studio working the third installment of the Soul Assassins series as well as other projects. Muggs is also prepping another Cypress Hill album and Al has teamed up with the Infamous Mob’s Twin Gambino to form the group First Infantry. Does this mean Al will be returning to the mic or is strictly and emcee/producer arrangement between the two?

In some other interesting news, it looks as if Mobb Deep has received their release from Columbia (at their request). The rumour mill is saying that they are talking about joining a certain Shady emcee and his flourishing label. Just a rumour though…
