After their incredibly successful album, “The Score,” The Fugees took some time off to do solo projects. They never really broke up, but during their solo runs some things were said between the members and it was never quite clear as to what their status was. It still isn’t clear. Nonetheless, Wyclef Jean is once again talking about reuniting with Lauryn and Praz.
Wyclef says the thing keeping them from getting back together is Ms. Hill. “I want to do a Fugees record. You have to talk to Lauryn Hill. You have to talk to the girl. The girl is the problem – not me.”
Somehow, I don’t think that saying things like that are going to help his cause. However, he also had this to say in regards to another Fugees album, “If the Fugees are going to do an album, it has to be excellent like the last one or they had better not do an album, you understand?”
