He is number one on the charts and in the box office, now he has some more awards to back him. Eminem and countless other musicians were in Barcelona at the Palau Sant Jordi for the MTV Europe Awards. Em dominated the show by taking home three major awards; Album of the Year (“The Eminem Show”), Male Artist of the Year and Hip Hop Artist of the Year.
50 Cent accompanied Eminem on stage to accept his awards. 50 was one of many to receive a thank you from Mr. Mathers, who thanked a host of other rappers that would be unknown to most viewers. Interestingly, Moby made an effort to end his feud with Slim, while accepting an award he said, “The truth be told, I wish Eminem well, I hope he goes on to have a happy life. From my perspective, I wish him nothing but peace and happiness.”
After the show, Eminem threw a small party at the Razmataz club. The 150 people in attendance were treated to a 40 minute set from Marshall. He was joined on stage by Marilyn Manson when he performed “The Way I Am.” In other Em news, Canibus has responded to him on his new album. The dis comes on the song “Curriculum.”
