The sixth annual Florida Entertainment Summit was held on December 9 through the 12 at Miami’s Courtyard Marriot. The four-day event, celebrating film, fashion and music honored one hometown rapper in particular: Trina.

The Slip-N-Slide Records veteran rapper was honored for her committment to the community through her Diamond Dolls Foundation. Trina, who also has a line of cosmetics, has supported the female-empowerment foundation through donations made by the sale of her items.
