Philadelphia Hip Hop band The Roots have been announced to play at The College of William & Mary’s first annual Charter Day concert. The February 5 holiday marks the date when the Royal charter was signed to establish the respected Williamsburg, Virginia college.
The announcement was made this weekend, during W&M’s Yule Log ceremony, another college tradition.
Earlier this year, The Roots released their latest album, How I Got Over, and perform sporadically in between their Late Night houseband duties.
