According to HipHopSite, this past week 50 Cent was on Hot 97’s Angie Martinez show. During the show, Eminem made a call to the show, asking 50 to play the new Benzino song; “I wanna request that new Benzino record. It’s hot. See if you can find that one and play it for me. You may have to dig in the trash, it may be in the bottom of the trash can.”
50 did as he was told and played the song. Eminem then proceeded to take some light jabs at Benzino, “It’s like when you buy a product from the store, a blender, you get home and it doesn’t work. People are going to buy his album and see that it doesn’t work. No word as to when Em will put the gloves on and reply on wax.
Em also referred to Benzino as ‘Hasbenzino’ during his call. He is a clever one. Lastly, a few bars from Em’s verse on Xzibit’s “Say My Name” that Benzino should have listened to, ”you’re better off trying to stomp me out/you don’t want it with rap/this is what I’m all about.”
