Ja Rule has been busy shooting the video for his new single “Thug Lovin’” in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The shooting took place over three entire days, which is exceptional as most video’s only take a day to complete. Word is that it is one of most extravagant (read: big budget) video’s ever made.
Apparently, Ja’s new friend, Suge Knight, makes an appearance in the video. The video should be out sometime before “The Last Temptation” drops on November 19th. In other Ja Rule news, while the details are being kept under wraps, it looks like Ja Rule and DMX had a scuffle at the Universal offices. Either that, or they nearly went at it.
This went down a few weeks ago. DMX was recently asked about the incident on a Philadelphia radio show and side stepped the question. In related news, DMX’s new album has been given a release date of November 26th. I’m sure that is no coincidence. So that means four major artists with largely overlapping audiences will all be releasing albums with in 3 weeks of each other (Jay, Nas, DMX, Ja Rule).
