Late turntablist DJ AM was known for his abilities to fuse genres in a way that packed dancefloors and accelerated the party. Now, the records that inspired the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native born Adam Goldstein are going up for sale in Hollywood, California to fund AM’s memorial foundation.
Above Ground Magazine reports that record store Cobrasnake (6801 Hollywood Boulevard) will have DJ AM’s collection for sale between November 12 and 14.
In related news, emcee Skillz, who toured with DJ AM and DJ Jazzy Jeff, has a dedication song “Adam” on his album, released two weeks ago, The World Needs More Skillz.
