Newark, New Jersey Hip Hop group The Outlawz has seen a revolving cast in their 15-plus year career. With E.D.I. and Young Noble remaining at the group’s core since its inception under the late 2Pac, members such as Napoleon, Kastro, Hussein Fatal and the slain Kadafi have been involved at different points – along with Thug Life’s Mopreme Shakur (“Komani”) and Big Syke (“Mussolini”).

According to a recent interview with AllHipHop.com, the present lineup of the Outlaw Immortalz features EDI, Young Noble and a return appearance from Fatal. Fatal was an Outlawz member prior to their 1999 debut, Still I Rise, and appeared on the high-profile diss record, “Hit ‘Em Up.” In the years since, Fatal has worked with artists such as Ja Rule, Jim Jones and Daz Dillinger. He released Born Legendary last year, while The Outlawz’ last studio album was 2008’s We Want In.

AllHipHop.com has album and feature information on the new album, The Perfect Timing in their interview with E.D.I.

In other news, Brooklyn Academy member Block McCloud is releasing an EP, Crazy Man tomorrow. The EP shares its name with the song (“Crazy Man”) posted on HipHopDX yesterday.

Lastly, Ryu Black p/k/a MeccaGodZilla of New York emcee collective Monster Island Czars is raising money for his upcoming album, Perfect Heaven through Kickstarter.com. The Long Island-based emcee has met his goal of $2,500 with over two days remaining in the pledge drive.
