Last Friday, Michigan State University was treated to a screening of “8 Mile.” During the week there was a buzz that Eminem was going to show up at the screening in his home state. Some students waited for 8 hours in hopes of catching a glimpse of him.
When the screening ended in the auditorium is seemed very unlikely that he was going to show. In the blink of an eye he was on stage kicking off a 45 minute set with “Lose Yourself.”
In other news, the “8 Mile” OST is being rampantly bootlegged on the net already. In an effort to encourage people to buy, there is a limited edition CD that comes with a bonus disk. The extra disk features exclusive Eminem and Shady Records content, movie trailer, behind-the-scenes footage, videos, freestyles and an exclusive pin number to access Eminem material on your computer.
