It has been a busy year for El-Producto, his solo debut, multiple releases from his label, production for other artists, the “Revenge of the Robots” tour. And now, another album. Well, not entirely new, but if you’re a Def Jux fan it doesn’t even matter.
Next Tuesday “Fan Dam Plus” will drop. The double album (for the price of one) consists of the instrumentals for “Fantastic Damage” and some remixes. “Squeegee Man Shooting” is remixed by El-P, Lazerface’s Warning is remixed by RJD2 and there is a remix of “Dead Weathermen” which features Copywrite, Cage, Camu Tao and Vast Aire.
The remix disc also contains some video footage for your CD-rom. There is live footage from his performance at SOB’s in New York and the highly controversial “Deep Space 9mm” video. The liner notes contain all the lyrics from “Fantastic Damage” as well.
