New York emcee Saigon has signed on to join veteran Vancouver, British Columbia collective the Swollen Members for a November tour. After releasing multiple projects last year, including an album recorded over a 24-hour window with deejay/producer Statik Selektah, All In A Day’s Work, this will be Saigon’s first national tour of 2010.
“It is a great honor for me to go on tour with Saigon,” said Mad Child from Swollen Members in a statement. “He is simply one of the best emcees in the game, and is by far one of my favorite rappers. I usually don’t trip on meeting other emcees, but I am pretty excited to tour with him.”
Last year, Swollen Members released Armed To The Teeth, which featured Tech N9ne, Talib Kweli and Everlast.
