Since the late 1990s, Minneapolis, Minnesota’s duo Atmosphere has been among the most heralded independent Hip Hop outfits. With the group and some fellow musicians and friends forming Rhymesayers Entertainment, Atmosphere, along with acts such as Eyedea & Abilities and Brother Ali have toured almost incessantly in the 13 years since their debut, Overcast!

On November 16, Atmosphere’s behind-the-scenes life on the road as well as hometown will be captured in Dan Monick’s book, Seven Years With Atmosphere & Rhymesayers. The accomplished photographer has followed emcee Slug and producer Ant for over a decade, capturing the duo with his camera. These never-before-seen photos will be published in the book, with a suggested retail cost of $45 USD.

In true Rhymesayers form, the hardcover edition of book is also available with a label compilation CD and a 10″ vinyl collection of never before heard Atmosphere songs. This collector’s edition is also available on November 16.

In related news, Atmosphere just released a 2EP collection, To All My Friends, Blood Makes The Blade Holy last month.
