The sixth annual A3C Festival will take place in Atlanta, Georgia on October 7, 8 and 9. Centered around Atlanta’s Masquerade venue, the underground Hip Hop showcase this year invites a number of fledging and veteran acts to perform.
Among this year’s headliners will be Erick Sermon and DJ Scratch of EPMD fame. Sermon is known for producing hits for Redman, Method Man and Keith Murray, along with nearly 25 years of success as a solo artist, EPMD co-founder and Def Squad member. Scratch, a member of Busta Rhymes’ Flipmode Squad has also thrived as a top deejay and accomplished producer. Also headlining is veteran Rap duo, Camp Lo. The former Profile Records stars have re-emerged in the last several years, signing a major label deal with SRC Records as “The Lo.” Lastly, Chicago emcee Rhymefest will also headline. The “Jesus Walks” co-writer released El Che, his second official album, earlier this year.
Also performing in this year’s three-day series of events will be artists ranging from San Francisco’s J. Davinci and Oakland’s Mistah FAB, Atlanta’s Cunninlynguists and Playboy Tre, as well as Brooklyn emcees Pack FM, Torae and Sha Stimuli.
