Three veterans of ’80s and ’90s Hip Hop will share the stage at the third event in New York’s “Emcee To Emcee” series on Tuesday September 14, 2010. Former Cold Chillin’ Records emcee/producer Grand Daddy I.U., Queens emcee and former Main Source front-man Mikey D and C+C Music Factory’s Freedom Williams will perform from 8:30 to 9:30 pm EST at H2C2/Hip Hop Culture Center, on the second floor of Frederick Douglass Boulevard’s Magic Johnson Theatre.

Earlier this week, Slaughterhouse emcee Joell Ortiz released his free Farewell Summer EP. The Brooklyn artist worked with DJ Premier, Don Cannon and Brother Ali on the project. Ortiz is still awaiting to release his second studio album, Free Agent, due later this year.

Cash Money/Hoo Bangin’ Records artist, and DXnext alum Glasses Malone has announced a partnership with car electronics giant Audiobahn. The Watts, California emcee who’s presently on the Independent Grind Tour with Tech N9ne and Jay Rock, will appear on the company’s catalog, as well as on CD samplers of music.

“Glasses Malone represents the next wave of great rappers from the west coast,” said Mark Quest of Raindeo, a spokesman for Audiobahn. “We believe that this collaboration with Glasses is perfectly in-line with the brand’s marketing direction and will be embraced by the Audiobahn audience who are avid fans of west coast Rap.”
