For those who haven’t noticed, every Thursday for months now we’ve been bringing you a single and a video from years past. In recent weeks we’ve added a little something for the crate diggers and audiophiles, the You Sampled It Wrong editorial; comparing songs that have used the same samples.

This week we featured the Jay-Z featured single from Foxy Brown’s 1996 debut “I’ll Be”

Representing the Garden Blocc section of Sacramento, C-Bo was our pick for this weeks video. “Birds In The Kitchen” is from his ’95 album Tales From The Crypt. Check out the video here.

Lastly, You Sampled It Wrong features tracks from DJ Honda & Mos Def, Lost Boyz and The Ranjahz featuring Cee-Lo, produced by DJ Premier. Each sampled Jerry Butler’s “Whatever’s Fair,” take a listen and tell us who you think rocked the sample the best. Check it out here.
