Lloyd Banks recently chopped it up with Karen Civil for her Civilized Talk series. During the video interview, the G-Unit rapper discussed his upcoming album The Hunger For More 2 and G-Unit’s legacy. He also revealed that after dropping five mixtapes with DJ Whoo Kid in one year, he may be putting the mixtape tip on hold.
“Whoo Kid is suspended right now at the moment,” Banks said. “I’ve made that guy so much money and done so many mixtapes with him…I put out five mixtapes in a year. He’s been hitting me lately because I’m getting ready to drop [my next album], so he’s been pressing me for a new mixtape, but I don’t know man. I know I’m going to scatter material out [with] freestyle material and radio shows…but as for a whole body of work on a mixtape, I don’t know if they’re going to get one. We’ll see how things go.”
