Suge Knight seems to have a lot of trouble with the family members of his deceased artists. The latest is a battle between the family of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes and Suge, over the impending release of the material she recorded before her death.

Lisa’s brother, Ron Lopes, had a message posted at cybertlc.com that detailed the situation with Suge Knight:

“Apparently Arista has let Suge remix the majority of the songs on Supernova without the family’s approval. I went out to LA (the city) to listen to the music. Then went to NY with my attorney to take a meeting with the business people of Arista. We let them know that the family is disappointed with La Reid and we are firmly against Suge releasing Lisa’s album. I also let them know that a significant number of Lisa’s fans would not support an album put out by Tha Row, especially when its against the family’s wishes. Also we will not stand by and let anyone degrade Lisa’s value or misrepresent her as an artist.”

“Arista seemed to understand our concerns. We are waiting to hear back from them this week. Remember Lisa NEVER signed with Suge or Tha Row, so the only way he can get some control is if Arista gives it to him. Suge believes he can control La Reid, he told me this. We will see. We have some powerful people in our corner, but our strongest asset is you, the fans. If need be I will call upon your services and we will show our enemies the power you posses.”
