Method Man and Fat Joe aren’t the only rappers in hot water with the IRS. Swizz Beatz, the super producer behind hits like Jay-Z’s “On to the Next One” and DMX’s “Ruff Ryder Anthem,” has recently been served with a $652,727 lien for unpaid federal taxes from 2008.

This isn’t Swizzy’s first run-in with the Taxman. He and ex-wife Mashonda racked up a number of liens, totaling up to about a $2.2 million debt. Swizz and his lawyers are currently negotiating “…an amicable resolution [to] the dispute.”

In other news, Snoop Dogg apparently tried to hire the entire European country of Liechtenstein for a new music video shoot, 35,000 residents and 61.7 square miles and all. As strange as the request sounds, the deal could have come into fruition, but unfortunately for the D-O-Double G, there was not enough time to lease the entire country.

“We’ve had requests for palaces and villages but never one to hire the whole country before,” said Karl Schwaerzler, local property lease agent. “It would have been possible…[but Snoop’s management] did not give us enough time.”
