This summer, music production and artists management group SMKA Productions is teaming up with Whynatte beverage company for The Atlanta Stargazing Tour concert series. From July 1 until September 9, the series will put the spotlight on some of Atlanta’s hottest hip-hop and rock talent. Artists already slated to perform at the event include Nappy Roots, Playboy Tre, Paper Route Gangstaz, STS, Vonnegutt and more.
In other concert news, J. Hatch and Inasirkl Music Group are collaborating for the Get Your Buzz Up performance series. This August 3 in New York City and the following day in Philadelphia, up-and-coming artists will be able to network and perform. Features at this year’s event include DX Next alum City Haze, Gage, Hard White and more at the New York performance, and Eric Sosa, Nico the Beast, Jet Noise Cardi and more at the Philly performance.
There will also be a showcase in which 15 hip-hop artists will compete with one another for a prize package aimed at increasing their exposure. The package includes and Digiwaxx sponsored single blast, Coast 2 Coast mixtape placement, free studio time and more. To get involved, contact getyourbuzzup@gmail.com. There is $300 fee for entry. Finally, Peter Rosenberg is hosting “An Evening With…” event with Grammy winning musicians David Banner and 9th Wonder on Tuesday 29 at 7:30 PM in New York City. The duo will discussing the philosophy behind their upcoming collaborative album Death of a Pop Star. The event is intended for members of the public. RSVP for the event here
