On July 23 — Cam’ron, his manager Jimmy Jones, Roc-A-Fella CEO Damon Dash, Juelz Santana and Master P were all in Harlem for the video shoot of Cam’ron’s remake of the Master P hit “Bout It, Bout It.” Filmed on the courts at 151st and Amsterdam and at 152nd and Broadway, the crew started around 1PM and quickly packed up around 6PM when a huge thunderstorm rocked the streets for about 15 minutes. Damon Dash’s silver convertible was quickly covered.
In addition to Cam’s Diplomats crew, another Harlem-native Fats cameo’d. Fats, is currently signed to Rodney Jerkins’ Darkchild Records, which just signed a distribution deal with Cash Money Records. Showing love for their hometown hero, kids and adults crowded the trailers and set, trying to holla at Harlem’s finest.
The video crew resumed again after 8PM at the second location on 152nd and Broadway.
