Gunna may have been up for two trophies at this year’s BET Awards, but his appearance at the ceremony began on a hostile note thanks to an incident on the red carpet.
A man filmed himself approaching the Atlanta rapper at the awards show on Sunday (June 30) and confronting him about the allegations that he snitched on Young Thug in the ongoing YSL RICO case.

While walking towards Gunna, who was stood with two female staff members, the stranger said: “Gunna Wunna, man. You can’t be in the city doing all that ratting shit. You rat ass n-gga.”
The man then moved away from the “Fukumean” hitmaker as one of his female associates went to confront him. Gunna himself merely stared at him without saying anything.
The video was uploaded by a user named K Rich who previously went viral for an interaction JAY-Z about the long-running “dinner with JAY-Z or $500K?” debate.
While running into the Roc Nation mogul at a Los Angeles Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys game last year, Rich jokingly told Hov: “I ain’t taking that dinner, I’m taking that $500,000.”

Jay replied by fist bumping the man and telling him to “be good.”
This is not the first time that Gunna has been publicly confronted with snitching accusations since taking a plea deal in the YSL RICO case, in which Young Thug remains on trial.
Last December, his former friend and collaborator Lil Baby took a shot at him during a concert when their hit “Drip Too Hard” began playing.
In a video captured by fans, Baby could be heard saying: “Fuck the rats, turn this shit off.”
