Eminem is still holding onto the past by continuing to use a BlackBerry phone, which was abandoned by its manufacturer two years ago.
DJ Whoo Kid took to Instagram on Thursday (February 22) to share a photo of himself chopping it up with Slim Shady and Denaun Porter for the WHOO’S House Podcast.

In the caption, the DJ made a joke about Mom’s Spaghetti while confirming that Em does in fact still use a BlackBerry to this day, despite the phones being discontinued in 2022.
“Eminem was trying to figure out who ate his last mom’s spaghetti box in the dressing room,” he wrote. “I was like @momsspaghettidetroit I told him it was @iamdenaun. and by the way yes. He still has a blackberry phone.”
The photo also sees Eminem wearing a t-shirt that features a graphic of Too $hort‘s classic 1990 album, Short Dog’s in the House.
Eminem previously wore the t-shirt during rehearsals for the Super Bowl halftime show in February 2022. Too $hort reposted a photo of him wearing the tee with the caption: “I love Detroit @eminem.”

DJ Whoo Kid’s Mom’s Spaghetti plug comes shortly after popular food critic Mr. ChimeTime branded Eminem’s business as “the WORST restaurant in Detroit.”
“This is by far the worst spaghetti that I have ever had in my entire life of eating spaghetti,” he told his 580,000 YouTube subscribers. “When I tasted this, it kinda reminds me of middle school cafeteria meat. But I’ma keep it 100 with you, middle school cafeteria meat is better than this bullshit.

He continued: “When you get the spaghetti, they just throw it in a bag. And not to mention, the container is open. So, spaghetti is flopping all over the goddamn cup. Number two: it’s cold as fuck. The sauce is by far the blandest upper-mid sauce that I’ve ever had in any spaghetti.
“They say it’s powdered Parmesan on this. Why in the hell are we using this low-grade, tasteless, cheap shit? Can we get some real Parmesan cheese, please? Now, on the flip side of that, if your goal is to overcharge for low-quality…spaghetti, congratulations… because you did just that.”
Eminem opened Mom’s Spaghetti in Detroit in September 2021, with the name referencing a line on his hit 2002 single “Lose Yourself,” where he raps, “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/ There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.”
The restaurant is located at 2131 Woodward Ave and also contains a merch shop called The Trailer that’s home to the Robin suit from Eminem’s “Without Me” music video.

The Detroit rapper previously brought Mom’s Spaghetti to Los Angeles for Super Bowl weekend in February 2022, before performing alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent for the halftime show.
He also launched a pop-up restaurant in New York City in November 2022 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 8 Mile.
