Drake has been sternly criticized for supporting Top5 by a relative of the rapper’s alleged murder victim.

Top5 (real name Hassan Ali) was on trial for the shooting death of 20-year-old named Hashim Omar Hashi, but walked free earlier this week after a judge ruled various pieces of evidence as inadmissible.

While celebrating his legal victory on Instagram, Top5 thanked Drake for helping to pay his laywer fees, although he later edited his post to omit any mention of the 6 God.

Drake has now been called out by a cousin of Hashi, whose death is believed to have been a case of mistaken identity as he was an accounting student with no gang ties.

In a series of Instagram Stories, the victim’s relative blasted Drizzy for playing a role in Top’s freedom, writing: “Zero clue this was even a thing. This shit hit like a blow to the stomach […] THIS IS THE WILDEST MOVE. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YALL DOING @champagnepapi #JusticeForHashim.”

They added: “Thank you @champagnepapi your version of justice means Hashim’s sister had to watch her brother’s murderer celebrating on TV – he insisted if that tells you anything about the [caliber] of people we’re dealing with here – during her honeymoon.”

The cousin also called out Drake’s longtime producer Noah “40” Shebib: “When I came back from Portland, they told me @ovo40 was one of the good guys, he was really tryna find a solution for what’s going on in the city. THIS IS THE SOLUTION?!

“Any and everything he does hereafter, every mom that has to hear him sing abt murdering their kid — THAT’S ON YALL!! The blood is on your hands.”

The relative also detailed the tragedy of Hashim’s death and posted Top5’s menacing-looking mugshot along with the message: “For the record. This is what @champagnepapi unleashed.”

Since being released from police custody, Top5 has promised to defend Drake from his numerous enemies, writing a stark warning on Instagram: “Y’all rap n-ggas owe my big bro @champagnepapi some apologies… or please don’t come to Toronto.”

He also appeared on a livestream with Adin Ross and Akademiks and issued a more specific warning to Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar: “I want Metro Boomin one on one. I don’t want no weapons, nothing. I’d knock him the fuck out. Kendrick Lamar, you passed the border, man.”

Top5 was not suspected to be the gunman in Hashim Omar Hashi’s murder but a passenger in the vehicle the shots were fired from. The rapper has always maintained his innocence over the killing.

After he was set free, he said to the awaiting press outside the courthouse: “An innocent man just came home. I hope they find whoever they did that. R.I.P.”
