Drake and J. Cole have had huge success together lately, with their No. 1 hit “First Person Shooter.” Now, the duo has taken the next logical step: they’re hitting the road.
On Monday (November 13), Drizzy announced an upcoming leg of his It’s All a Blur Tour. On 18 of those 22 shows, he will be joined by Cole in what is being billed as the It’s All a Blur — Big As the What? Tour.

The blockbuster tour is produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Cash App and Visa. Cash App has had a big presence in arena rap lately, with a commercial starring Kendrick Lamar playing between acts during the rapper’s recent jaunt.
Cole and Drake will begin their co-headlining tour on January 18 in Denver, Colorado, and Cole will continue with the trek through March 10 in Lexington, Kentucky. The 6 God will perform the final four shows of the tour — including a Long Island show just 7.7 miles from Cole’s alma mater, St. John’s University — without the North Carolina rhymer.
Tickets for the shows will be available on Wednesday (November 15) in a Cash App debit card presale (a move Drizzy also did earlier in the tour), with a general sale to follow two days later at 11 a.m. local time. All of the information about the shows can be found here.
There’s no word yet on whether the tour will include a reprise of the memorable Drake/Cole moment at April’s Dreamville festival, where Drizzy led the crowd in a sing-along of Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You” as praise for the “No Role Modelz” rapper.

The tour announcement comes just over a month after Drake told the world that he would be taking a year off from making music in order to focus on his health.
In the early morning hours of the day of the release of his latest album For All the Dogs, Drizzy revealed on his SiriusXM Radio show Table For One that he was unlikely to create new songs for the next year or so, in order to focus on his health.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” he said. “I need to focus on my health first and foremost … I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach. I need to get right.
“I have a lot of other things that I’d like to focus on, so I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t even know what ‘a little bit’ is. Maybe a year or something, maybe a little longer.”
