Drake and J. Cole have had huge success together lately, with their No. 1 hit “First Person Shooter.” Last month, the duo took the next logical step in their partnership and announced that they will be hitting the road next year.
In mid-November, The 6 God unveiled an upcoming leg of his It’s All a Blur Tour. On 18 of those 22 shows, he will be joined by the Dreamville boss in what is being billed as It’s All a Blur — Big As the What?
The blockbuster tour is produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Cash App and Visa. Cash App has had a big presence in arena rap lately, with a commercial starring Kendrick Lamar playing between acts during the rapper’s recent jaunt.
Cole and Drake will begin their co-headlining tour on January 18 in Denver, Colorado, and Cole will continue with the trek through March 10 in Lexington, Kentucky. The “Hotline Bling” hitmaker will perform the final four shows of the tour — including a Long Island show just 7.7 miles from Cole’s alma mater, St. John’s University — without the North Carolina rhymer.
