Drake has sent a defiant message to those who have written him off following his perceived defeat to Kendrick Lamar in their high-profile beef.

On his 38th birthday on Thursday (October 24), Drizzy posted a picture on Instagram of him and his mother Sandra Graham each holding a stack of cash during the celebrations.

In the caption, Drake pointedly wrote: “They pictured me dead but that was just imagination. one more year pon dem.”

The message suggests that the 6 God is far from done with those who counted him out and turned their backs on him in his “20 vs. 1” battle with Kendrick, Metro Boomin, Rick Ross and co.

One rapper who has remained firmly on Drake’s side is Sexyy Red, who gave her “Rich Baby Daddy” a special birthday shoutout on social media.

“Happy Birthday to one of the nicest most humblest person I kno [heart hands emojis] LOVE U BD ENJOY YO MONTH [red tear drop emoji] [confetti emoji],” the “SkeeYee” star wrote on Instagram.

Footage of the night showed Drizzy enjoying a drink with his parents, Dennis and Sandra Graham, while being presented with a giant “1986” sparkling birthday cake — a nod to the year he was born.

Another video captured the scenes at a Houston strip club where the birthday boy seemingly made it rain — to the tune of over $50,000.

To celebrate his birthday, Drake also gave away free food at Dave’s Hot Chicken, the restauarant he co-owns.

The offer was valid at any of the fast food company’s locations and was the third time the rap star had collaborated with the chain to give out free chicken on his birthday.
