Dave East and G-Eazy have teamed up for their first collaboration showing off their unbridled swagger and confidence on the brash “WDGAF” — check out the song’s video below.
Over jittery Mike WiLL Made-It production that sounds like it leans closer to the sonic palette of Young Gerald, the pair pass the baton back and forth between Harlem and Oakland.

A monochromatic music video helmed by Gerard Victor also arrived on Friday (June 30), which finds the pair of charismatic rhymers flanked by twerking women with dollar bills raining from the sky.
“That joint is a bop,” Dave East relayed in a statement. “It’s a different tempo and sound I’ve never tapped into. I’m bragging, and you can’t shut me up! I’d never collaborated with G-Eazy before, and it was mad fun.”
The braggadocios single is set up to lead the Harlem rapper into his sophomore albumFortune Favors the Bold, which will be released via Def Jam on July 14 to heat up the NYC summer streets.
“I Googled John Wick’s tattoo,” he said of the album title’s inspiration. “I thought about what Fortune Favors the Bold meant to me, and it totally fit the album. I had to be bold to continue doing what I’m doing and dealing with all of the hate, the love, and the shit I’ve dealt with.
“I never let it affect my journey. I’ve seen a lot of fortune I didn’t know I was going to see by being bold and not taking ‘No’ for an answer. This is a statement.”
The LP is stuffed with 24 songs and will feature assists from Ghostface Killah, Coi Leray, Jadakiss, Kid Capri, Ty Dolla $ign, Cordae and more. Previously released singles include “Damn,” “Dope Boy” and “Rich Problems.”
As for G-Eazy. the These Things Happen rapper is gearing up to release his new album, which is led by first single, “Tulips & Roses.”

He also previewed a handful of other new tracks last month at two “special” California shows he put on to celebrate his fans. The four new songs he debuted during his set are titled “Be My Guest,” “Free Throws,” “Nada” and “Beautiful Surrender.” It’s unclear for now if they’ll be on his forthcoming album.
G is scheduled to make a few club appearances over the coming weeks. He’ll be performing at Parq in San Diego on Saturday night (July 1) before heading to Miami’s E11EVEN and Zouk in Las Vegas later in July.
