Dame Dash has been cleared in a sexual assault lawsuit but has been ordered to pay the victim $30,000.
The Roc-A-Fella co-founder was accused of sexually assaulting photographer Monique Bunn in 2019.

Bunn sued Dash over claims he inappropriately touched her while she was sleeping at his house during a video project. She later added defamation charges after the Hip Hop mogul accused her of charging thousands of dollars to his credit card without permission.
According to Billboard, a jury sided with Dame Dash and cleared him of the sexual assault allegations on Wednesday (February 15) following a four-day trial.

However, the jury did find him liable for defamation and awarded Bunn $30,000 in damages.
Monique Bunn was seeking tens of millions of dollars in the lawsuit and accused Dash of failing to give back a large collection of her photos, but wasn’t awarded any damages over the unreturned property.

Last week, Bunn testified that Dame Dash groped her during a 2019 video shoot at his house. While sleeping in his daughter’s room, she said she awoke to feel “something on the left side of my like lower back onto my butt, down my thigh.”
Bunn also testified that Dash’s claims about her stealing money from him had destroyed her career.
Dame Dash reportedly dismissed the allegations as “ridiculous” in his testimony and denied any misconduct, calling Bunn a “con artist” for making false accusations.
Bunn said she was “thankful to the jury for the result on my defamation claim” and “pleased I can move forward” following the verdict.

The verdict comes almost a year after Dame Dash was ordered to pay $800,000 in a copyright infringement and defamation lawsuit involving director Josh Webber and Muddy Water Pictures over the movie Dear Frank.
Dash was originally on board to direct the film, but was removed from the project after it was claimed he was unfit for the job due to always being high on set. Webber and his company then sued Dash, accusing him of trying to shop Dear Frank on his own.
