Cam’ron and Ma$e have roasted Fat Joe for his recent NBA Draft blunder, despite the Terror Squad rapper previously thanking them for not making fun of him.
Joey Crack went viral last month for saying he likes “Dick from Kansas” while appearing on ESPN’s broadcast of the draft, referring to Kansas Jayhawks star Gradey Dick who went on to be recruited by the Toronto Raptors.

After facing a barrage of jokes both online and in person, the Bronx rap legend responded by saying he’s “too old to play the pause game” and is “very confident in who I am,” while also shouting out Cam’ron and Ma$e for “not roasting me yet.”
Ask the Harlem duo, though, and nobody — not even Joe Crack The Don — is exempt from the pause game. During the latest episode of their sports talk show, It Is What It Is, the rappers-turned-talking heads ribbed Fat Joe for his on-air gaffe.
“The whole thing about it is, Fat Joe didn’t even say whoever’s name it is first — he just said ‘from Kansas,’ so he say he like dick from a specific area or a certain part of the country — pause,” Cam’ron said while laughing hysterically.
“Like lobster from Maine,” Ma$e chimed in, fueling the laughter. “Idaho potato,” Cam added.

“Ayo Joe, listen, we love you,” the Dipset rapper continued. “Once you say you don’t play [the pause game], you play it! If you don’t play, why say you don’t play?! You don’t gotta announce it. And if it didn’t bother you, you ain’t gotta double back and be like, ‘I don’t care. I said I liked Dick from Kansas, that’s a player.'”
Cam’ron and Ma$e both agreed that Joe was “out of pocket” for his comments and questioned why he referred to Gradey Dick by his surname alone, considering the connotations.
“Yo Crack, you know you my man. You got a flow, Joe. I was a fan in high school, n-gga,” Killa Cam said. “But you’re out of pocket, Joe. You know why, Joe? I would say this — pause this whole little scenario — it would be crazy if the n-gga’s name was Fred Dick — pause.
“But he got a whole other name, it’s Gregory or something like that. You could say, ‘I mess with Gregory from Kansas.’ He had two names, bro. A first name and a last name.”

“He chose to go with Dick,” Ma$e interjected, prompting more hysterical laughter.
“Yo Crack, you can say you don’t play, my man, but listen, the internet says different… pause,” Cam concluded.
While Cam’ron and Ma$e had laid off Fat Joe until now, their It Is What It Is Instagram account didn’t let him off the hook and previously posted a clip of his “Dick from Kansas” soundbite paired with amusing sound effects.
“HEY #JOEYCRACK YOU KNOW WE FU*KS WIT YOU OVER HERE AT #ITISWHATITISTALK BUT THE SLOGAN OVER HERE IS #NOBODYSAFE SO WITH THAT BEING SAID “AYOOOO” #PAUSE #THATWASCRAZY #NBADRAFT,” the caption read.

In a follow-up post, the account defended its use of “pause” — a term used when somebody says something that may be interpreted as homoerotic.
“The ‘Pause’ game is not childish or Homophobic,” the message read. “In fact… It keeps the individual aware and conscious about his thoughts and choice of words. It also preserves masculinity. Even it hardships, a good ol ‘pause’ can lighten the mood and bring a good laugh to the soul… -Harlem.”
