Birdman has saluted Quality Control’s Pierre “Pee” Thomas for the impressive operation he’s built and Stunna’s giving him the nod as a CEO over the likes of Diddy, JAY-Z and Dr. Dre.

Earlier this week, the Earn Your Leisure podcast ranked the 10 best Hip Hop record label CEOs of all-time with Baby and his Cash Money Records empire taking the top spot followed by Diddy, Jay, Dre, Russell Simmons, Master P, L.A. Reid, Dame Dash, Jermaine Dupri and Suge Knight rounding out the top 10.

Quality Control’s Pee and Kevin “Coach K” Lee were left in the honorable mention category alongside Irv Gotti (Murda Inc.), J. Prince (Rap-A-Lot Records) and Dee and Waah Dean (Ruff Ryders)

Birdman chimed in showing love to Pee and went as far as saying he should be No. 2 on the greatest rap CEOs list behind himself for all that he’s achieved in the industry.

“P from QC should be 2nd no doubt no shade jus bein real gangsta CMRG. my [opinion] @cashmoneyofficial,” he declared.

The list’s creation seemed to be sparked by Birdman calling out Billboard earlier this month for not recognizing the CEOs behind the artists’ success after the publication revealed their top 50 greatest rappers list, which saw JAY-Z take the No. 1 slot.

“@billboard I see you’ll did 10 best rappers which is well respeked but what about tha CEO who made thaway for these rappers to be Supa stars fought tha battle behind doors,” Birdman wrote. “So they kan be super stars put some respek on my name and stop playin with me I’m tha best to ever doit nothing but love for all CEO ever in 50yrs of hip hop we held it down cash money rich gang STUNNAMAN tha best ever #THEGOATMAKER I doit do 4MS GLADYS #dont lie @cashmoneyofficial.”

In a post last month, Stunna reiterated that the music executives should be celebrated just as much since they’ve played just as important a role in the rise of Hip Hop as the artists they helped put on.

“Im confused about 50yrs of Hip Hop where they salute legendary artists which is well respeked also I think CEOs who kept these artists alive to be great showed them how to keep hip hop alive should be saluted in a major way,” Birdman wrote.

“March 15 Is Officially ‘QC Day,’” he wrote on Instagram while sharing footage from the ceremony. “Thank You Parker Cannon, Dexter Sharper and The Georgia House Of Representatives. It’s Always A Blessing When Your Hard Work Gets Acknowledged. #KeepGoingForward.”

Coach K and Pierre Thomas’ honor comes just weeks after they cashed in on their empire. Last month, Quality Control was acquired by Scooter Braun’s HYBE America in a lucrative deal worth $320 million.
