Ab-Soul’s highly-anticipated Herbert album arrived last week and Lakers superstar LeBron James shined a light on the LP with his stamp of approval.
“Ab-Herbert-Soul is so COLD MAN!!!!!!!!! project G,” King James wrote on Sunday (December 18).

Soulo took the chance to ask LeBron for courtside seats to an upcoming Lakers home game at the Crypto.com Arena.
“Need them floor seats King!!! Get @dangerookipawaa on the phone,” the TDE rapper responded.
Soulo’s Herbert album marks his first LP since 2016’s Do What Thou Wilt. and features assists from Big Sean, Russ, Joey Bada$$, Jhené Aiko, SiR, Punch, Zacari, Fre$h, Ambré, ALEMEDA and Lance Skiiiwalker.
On the production side of things, the effort uses beats from DJ Premier, Sounwave, James Blake, Hit-Boy, Boi-1da and DJ Dahi.
Ab-Soul delivered another cinematic visual off the project last week with “FOMF” receiving the video treatment starring fellow TDE rhymer ScHoolboy Q.

LeBron James has long been an avid Hip Hop fan and he’s no stranger to giving his music opinion on his social media accounts for his hundreds of millions of followers to hear.
In other music news, the future NBA Hall-of-Famer’s production company, SpringHill, is partnering with Marathon Films to produce a docu-series surrounding the life and legacy of the late Nipsey Hussle.
The docu-series will give viewers “exclusive access” to “Nipsey’s inner circle,” and will include “never-before-seen archival footage,” and interviews with over 50 collaborators including Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, and his longtime partner, Lauren London.
“It’s an incredible honor for SpringHill to have a part in sharing Nipsey’s story and legacy with the world,” LeBron James said in a press release. “He used his gift to give back to his community and lived what it means to inspire, empower, and uplift others along the way. His words, his ambition, and his actions stick with me to this day as he continues to inspire myself, our company, and people everywhere.”
