“Ice Cube has done some great shit over the years creating a path artist from our culture can follow,” 50 wrote to Instagram on Friday (June 16) while saluting the West Coast legend.
Fans flooded 50 Cent’s comment section in agreement that Ice Cube needs to get his flowers more often while he’s still here to smell them considering what he’s accomplished in all aspects of entertainment.
“Greatest of all time should include beyond rap. Ice Cube is debatably on the Mount Rushmore,” one person wrote while another said: “No cap .. he should be celebrated more!”
Snoop Dogg also recently lent his fellow West Coast rap peer some high praise when he backed his claim that “No Vaseline” was the best battle diss song ever made in Hip Hop.
“Hands down, he does. Nothing comes close,” Tha Doggfather wrote under an AllHipHop Instagram post while DJ Tony Neal, the founder of the Core DJs collective, also agreed with the assessment. “Nothing close except for ‘Hit ‘Em Up.'”
These days, Ice Cube is preparing for an unprecedented BIG3 season, which will give fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the league through a new docuseries.

“We have tremendous momentum going into the sixth season, coming off of record ratings and numerous sold out games. We’ve been making moves this offseason – getting certified by ByBlack, renewing with CBS, and recruiting and signing all-star players – to put together the best season yet and we can’t wait to show these cities what the BIG3 is all about.”
Games will be broadcasted this summer on CBS and Paramount+, with the 2023 BIG3 Championship Game slated for August 26.
